Saer Seck, president of the Diambars Institute in Saly and the Professional Football League, shared his thoughts on Bruno Metsu, the former coach of the Senegal national football team in 2002. According to Seck, many Senegalese initially doubted Metsu’s ability to elevate Senegalese football on the global stage. However, Metsu’s tactical and technical skills, combined with his determination, proved his prowess as a formidable coach. Seck emphasized that Metsu’s impact on Senegalese football was significant, and the late coach will be remembered for his tactical strength and winning mentality. Metsu will be buried in Senegal on Monday, with President Macky Sall in attendance.
