Sadio Mané set to extend Al Nassr contract after stellar season
Sadio Mané is set to extend his contract with Al Nassr, according to multiple Saudi sources, after a highly impressive 2025-26 season.
The former Liverpool FC and Bayern Munich forward joined the Saudi club in 2023 and will reach the end of his current contract on 30 June.
Supporters affectionately call the club “Al Alamy,” and reports suggest they are preparing a new deal to retain the 33-year-old Senegalese international.
Mané has been a key figure for Al Nassr this season, contributing to 15 goals across all competitions, with eight goals and seven assists in 23 appearances.
His performances have been described as “breathtakingly brilliant,” confirming his status as one of the league’s standout performers.
The Senegalese forward, a product of the Génération Foot academy in Bambaly, appears set to conclude his playing career in Saudi Arabia.
Beyond club football, he is expected to retire from international duty after representing Senegal in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
His prospective contract extension is seen as both a reward for consistent performances and a strategic move by Al Nassr to maintain one of the most influential players in their squad.
With his experience in Europe and the African international stage, Mané remains a pivotal figure for the club, both on and off the pitch.
By securing the forward for the remainder of his career, Al Nassr aims to ensure continuity in attack and benefit from Mané’s leadership and goal-scoring ability for the coming seasons.
