Sadio Mane on target for Al Nassr

Senegal international, Sadio Mane, registered his name on the scoresheet as Al Nassr delivered a commanding performance to thrash Al Wasl FC 4–0 in the AFC Champions League.

The win sends the Saudi Arabian giants into the semi-finals of the Champions League campaign.

Al Nassr wasted no time asserting their dominance, storming into an early lead through Cristiano Ronaldo, who opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a clinical finish. That goal set the tone for a ruthless first-half display that left their opponents reeling.

Momentum continued to build as Inigo Martinez doubled the advantage soon after, capitalizing on a well-crafted move. The creative spark behind the early surge came from Joao Felix, whose vision and precision unlocked the Al Wasl defense repeatedly.

Within the first half hour, the contest was effectively put beyond doubt when Abdulelah Al-Amri added a third goal—again assisted by João Félix—capping a devastating spell of attacking football from Al Nassr.

Despite the comfortable lead, Al Nassr maintained their intensity after the break, controlling possession and limiting any threat from Al Wasl. Their dominance was eventually rewarded again in the 80th minute when Mané produced a moment of composure and class. The Senegalese forward calmly rounded goalkeeper Mohamed Ali before slotting into an empty net to complete the rout.

Mané’s goal not only sealed an emphatic victory but also took his tally to 13 goals in all competitions this season, underlining his consistent impact in Al Nassr’s campaign.

With this result, Al Nassr march confidently into the semi-finals, where they will face either Al Ahli Doha or Al Hussein SC in the West region final set to be played in Dubai.

On the back of such a dominant display, Al Nassr have sent a strong message to their continental rivals—combining star power, attacking flair, and defensive solidity as they edge closer to Asian glory.
