Sadio Mané returns to Al Nassr training camp ahead of new Saudi Pro League season

Senegal forward Sadio Mané has returned to Al Nassr’s pre-season training camp in Portugal as the Saudi Pro League club continues preparations for the new season.

The 34-year-old rejoined his teammates after enjoying a short break following the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the Senegal international now back in training ahead of Al Nassr’s upcoming campaign.

Mané linked up with his new manager Ange Postecoglou during the camp as the Australian coach begins preparations with the squad following his appointment as Jorge Jesus’ successor.

Al Nassr are currently working in Portugal as they build towards their opening Saudi Pro League fixture against Al Fateh, which is scheduled to take place in two weeks.

The return of Mané provides a boost for the club as they prepare for the new season, with the experienced attacker expected to play an important role in the team’s plans.

However, despite returning to training, Mané is not expected to feature in Al Nassr’s upcoming friendly match against Estrela Amadora on Saturday.

The Senegalese star is still working to regain full match fitness after his period away from the squad, meaning the club are likely to manage his return carefully during the final stages of pre-season preparations.

Mané’s arrival in Portugal marks the beginning of a new chapter under Postecoglou, who has taken charge of the team ahead of the new Saudi Pro League campaign.

The former Liverpool forward remains one of Al Nassr’s most experienced players and will be expected to provide leadership both on and off the pitch as the club aims for success in the season ahead.

With the opening league fixture against Al Fateh approaching, Al Nassr will continue their preparations in Portugal while gradually integrating their returning players into the squad.
