Sadio Mané opens modern bakery to drive development in Bambali

Sadio Mané launches a new bakery in Bambali, adding another milestone to his long list of development projects in his hometown.

The new facility, named Le Boudhie, stands as the first modern bakery in Bambali. Mané partnered with Grands Moulins de Dakar and local authorities to finance and complete the project.

Reports from L’As reveal that the investment reached 250 million CFA francs, a sum that aims to improve access to quality bread and stimulate the local economy.

The bakery operates with advanced professional equipment that ensures reliable production and consistent standards.

Residents can now buy fresh bread in their own community, a service that was unavailable before the project opened. The change brings immediate convenience and marks a shift in how the village sources its food.

Mané’s initiative includes economic and social components that extend far beyond the construction of the building.

The bakery employs 14 young people, and 9 of them completed specialised vocational training provided by Grands Moulins de Dakar.

The project equips them with skills that strengthen their long term employment prospects and contribute to the rise of local expertise.
