Sadio Diallo’s time on the pitch was cut short to just 20 minutes in Toulouse on Wednesday during the 7th day of Ligue 1. The Guinean striker, who scored in the previous weekend’s thrilling 3-3 match against Bordeaux, was forced to leave the field after an impact.
According to the club’s Twitter account, Diallo’s early departure may be due to an injury or breakdown. Yann Jouffre came on as his replacement. Currently, Lorient is holding Toulouse to a 0-0 scoreline after 60 minutes of play.
Unfortunately for Diallo, he could be sidelined for around two weeks. The striker had joined Lorient this summer on loan from Rennes, and his absence will be a setback for the team.
