Sacha Boey has recently turned down several transfer opportunities, including a concrete offer from Olympique Lyon and interest from Premier League clubs.

Bayern Munich, who would have been open to a winter sale, were not entirely satisfied with his decision, especially given his limited role in the squad. Despite that, the 24-year-old right-back, who earns around 3 million euros per year in fixed salary, is said to feel settled and comfortable in Munich.

A key development now is Boey’s change of representation. He has joined the agency of Moussa Sissoko, the same agent who handles negotiations for teammate Dayot Upamecano.

This move is expected to strengthen Boey’s hand in shaping his next career step, whether that means fighting for a bigger role at Bayern or exploring a move elsewhere in the summer.

For Bayern, however, dealing with Sissoko again may present a new challenge. Talks over Upamecano’s contract have already proven demanding, and club officials anticipate similarly tough negotiations if they look to sell Boey or redefine his status in the squad.

Any future transfer or contract discussions are now likely to run through Sissoko, making him a central figure in Bayern’s defensive planning.
