Sacha Bernard: France-Ivory Coast midfielder joins Claye-Souilly on free transfer
France and Ivory Coast youth midfielder Sacha Bernard has joined Claye-Souilly on a free transfer from Paris FC U19.
The 19-year-old, who plays in central midfield, makes the move after two seasons in the French national youth competitions, stepping into senior football with the Seine-et-Marne club. The switch is a permanent transfer, completed on 15 July 2026.
Born in Stains in June 2007, Bernard has represented both France and Ivory Coast at youth level and now links up with Claye-Souilly as they reshape their squad ahead of the new campaign. He had been with Paris FC’s under-19 side since 2024 after arriving from Chateauroux U17, also on a free transfer.
Bernard featured regularly across the National U19 divisions, making over 30 appearances and scoring three goals in league and cup competitions. His most productive spell came in Group B of the National U19 league, where he scored twice in 11 matches, and he also found the net once in the Coupe Gambardella.
Before his move into the Paris FC academy, Bernard spent two years at Chateauroux U17, having previously developed at BMSF at youth level. His path through several respected youth systems in France has now led to a first-team opportunity with Claye-Souilly.
Bernard is now registered with Claye-Souilly, with the free transfer from Paris FC U19 completed ahead of the 2026–27 season.
