Saad Farid: Moroccan Left-Back Joins Hatta Club on Free Transfer from RCA Reserve

Moroccan defender Saad Farid has joined UAE Pro League side Hatta Club on a free transfer from RCA Reserve. The 21-year-old left-back makes the move to the United Arab Emirates after progressing through the ranks at Raja Casablanca’s youth system.

Farid, born in Casablanca and a left-footed specialist on the left side of defence, arrives at Hatta Club having spent the last three seasons within Raja’s structure. He advanced from Raja Youth to the club’s U19s and then into RCA Reserve, where he gained his first experience of senior football.

The move, completed on 23 July 2026, gives Hatta Club a young full-back with recent competitive minutes in Moroccan football. Farid featured primarily in the Excellence Cup and Botola Pro Inwi, accumulating 10 senior appearances and over 600 minutes of action in domestic competitions.

Standing at 1.80m, Farid has been used consistently at left-back and has contributed going forward, registering an assist during his time in the Excellence Cup. His development through Raja Casablanca’s academy system provides Hatta with a player accustomed to a structured environment and exposure to competitive fixtures.

Farid’s switch to Hatta Club marks his first move abroad and ends a long association with Raja Casablanca’s youth and reserve teams, confirming a permanent free transfer to the UAE Pro League side.
