Ryan Fosso: Levante eye move for Sturm Graz midfielder in LaLiga push
Ryan Fosso, the Cameroon-Switzerland defensive midfielder currently at Sturm Graz, is being linked with a move to Spanish side Levante as the LaLiga club explore midfield reinforcements. The 24-year-old, valued at around 2m, has emerged as a candidate as Levante look to add depth in front of their back line.
Fosso joined Sturm Graz in January 2026 from Dutch club Fortuna Sittard for a fee of 900,000 after impressing in the Eredivisie, where he made 47 league appearances. Since arriving in Austria, he has already featured in the Bundesliga, adding one goal and one assist in 14 appearances, and has also gained experience in European competition through Conference League and qualifying matches.
Born in Lugano and eligible for both Cameroon and Switzerland, Fosso has built a reputation as a defensive midfielder through steady progress in Switzerland, the Netherlands and now Austria. His performances at FC Vaduz, where he twice won the Liechtenstein Cup in consecutive seasons, first put him on the radar of clubs outside Switzerland.
Sturm Graz sanctioned his move from Fortuna Sittard after his market value rose significantly during his spell in the Netherlands, and any approach from Levante would be expected to reflect that upward trajectory. Fossos contract length in Graz has not been made public, but his relatively recent arrival and rising valuation suggest Sturm would be in a strong negotiating position should formal talks with Levante materialise.
