Ryad Boudebouz, initially linked with numerous European clubs, has chosen to remain in France. The midfielder, who was one of the final transfers on the last day of the Ligue 1 transfer window, departed Sochaux to join Bastia. Despite initial hesitation, with offers from English clubs in the mix, Boudebouz ultimately signed a three-year contract with Bastia for a transfer fee of 1 million euros. This move marks the second club of his professional career.
