Rwanda Premier League side Musanze FC have formally submitted a complaint to the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) against Amagaju FC assistant coach Japhet Imurora, accusing him of alleged involvement in match manipulation during their fixture on April 17.

According to the club, concerns were raised over certain incidents during the game that they believe compromised the integrity of the contest.

Musanze FC have since called for a thorough investigation into the conduct of the Amagaju FC official.

The complaint has been filed with the federation’s disciplinary structures, with Musanze FC urging authorities to take swift action to protect the credibility of the domestic league.

FERWAFA is yet to issue an official response on the matter, while Amagaju FC have also not publicly commented on the allegations.

The case adds to growing scrutiny around officiating and integrity issues in regional football, with stakeholders increasingly calling for stricter oversight and enforcement measures.
