As of the end of the transfer window in Russia, there are reports that Anzhi Makachkala is showing interest in Adil Rami, the Valencia defender. Charles Kaboré had previously left Krasnodar, and Anzhi Makachkala seems to be looking to strengthen its squad further, with Rami being mentioned in the Russian press in connection with Samuel Eto’o’s side.
Adil Rami is still under contract with Valencia, and his release clause was reportedly reduced from 25 to 12 million euros on February 1. Despite this reduction, as of now, there is no indication that Anzhi Makachkala has made an official offer to the 27-year-old French defender.
