Yann M’Vila, who joined Russian club Rubin Kazan from Stade Rennais, is reported to be earning a significant salary, according to the Russian newspaper Izvestia. The report suggests that some players at the club are envious of M’Vila’s salary, and negotiations for new contracts with other players have either stopped or resulted in demands for substantial salary increases upon learning of M’Vila’s earnings. The reported figures for M’Vila’s salary are 3.9 million euros net in the first year, 4.2 million in the second, 4.6 million in the third, and 4.8 million in the fourth.
