Ruben Compaore: Slavia Praha eye move for FC Dila’s Burkinabe defender

Ruben Compaore, the Burkinabe centre-back currently at FC Dila, is being linked with a move to Czech side Slavia Praha in the latest twist of the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old left-footer has emerged as a target for the Chance Liga club after establishing himself in Georgia’s Erovnuli Liga this season. Compaore has featured in 13 league matches for Dila in 2026, starting nearly half of their games and playing just over half of the available minutes, underlining his growing role in the first team.

Slavia’s interest comes at a time when Compaore’s value has risen to €50,000, the highest of his career so far. That figure is expected to form the basis of any negotiations, with the Georgian side likely to seek a fee that reflects his rapid progression since arriving earlier this year.

Compaore joined Dila on 4 February 2026 from Israeli side Ironi Kiryat Shmona’s under-19 set-up, following a spell with Academie Basga Jo. Standing at 1.92m and operating exclusively at centre-back, he has yet to record a goal or assist in the current league campaign but has collected one yellow card.

There is no public indication of a release clause or a defined contract end date in Gori, which could give Dila leverage in discussions with Slavia Praha as they weigh up whether to cash in on a player who has broken into their senior side in his first season at the club.
