RS Berkane travels to South Africa for CAF confederation cup clash
On Friday morning, the RS Berkane football team departed for South Africa aboard a private flight to face Stellenbosch FC in the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
The team, nicknamed “The Volcano,” left from Oujda Angad Airport on a direct flight, accompanied by a 41-member delegation that includes players, technical staff, and administrative personnel.
Upon arrival, RS Berkane is scheduled to hold a light training session on Friday evening to help the team recover from the journey.
A second training session will take place on the match venue’s main pitch, allowing the squad to familiarize themselves with the field ahead of the crucial encounter.
