Royal Air Maroc has increased its flight operations between Casablanca and the United States ahead of the 2026 World Cup, introducing additional services to New York, Boston and Atlanta during June.

The revised schedule will run between 11 and 27 June and is designed to provide greater transport capacity during the period surrounding the tournament.

The move comes as supporters prepare to travel to the United States for one of the biggest events in world sport.

According to the updated programme, the Moroccan airline has concentrated its additional services on three American destinations: New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Boston and Atlanta.

Additional flights have been introduced to accommodate a larger number of passengers travelling between Morocco and the United States during the competition period.

“The company will ultimately operate up to six round-trip flights to Atlanta and Boston.”

The revised programme is centred on departures from Casablanca, with Royal Air Maroc deploying Boeing 788 and 789 aircraft on the additional charter services.

The increase in capacity is particularly evident on the New York route.

What initially began as a plan involving a single trip has been substantially expanded, with five extra flights added to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The decision reflects growing demand for travel options during the World Cup period and forms part of a broader effort to improve connections between Morocco and host cities in the United States.

For travellers, the revised schedule offers a wider range of departure and return options throughout June.

New York will be the first destination to receive the additional services.

Additional flights between Casablanca and Boston are scheduled to operate from 17 June until 22 June.

The city will host the largest number of services included in the expanded programme, reflecting its importance within the airline’s World Cup travel plans.

The final stage of the operation will involve flights to Atlanta.

Services between Casablanca and Atlanta are planned from 23 June to 27 June, completing a sequence of additional routes spread across more than two weeks.

The overall programme has been designed to cover a 17-day period and provide increased connectivity between Morocco and the United States during one of the busiest travel periods associated with the tournament.

The airline’s revised plans are expected to make travel easier for supporters seeking to attend matches and related events.
