Roshn Saudi League reports record growth with 198 million live views

The Roshn Saudi League recorded major commercial and audience growth during the 2025-2026 season, with its market value rising to 4.6bn Saudi riyals and live broadcasts attracting 198 million views.

The figures were released by the Roshn Saudi League on its official account on X as the competition reviewed a season that also saw Al Nassr win the title for the first time in seven years.

Al Nassr secured the championship after a closely fought campaign against traditional rivals Al Hilal, with the title race continuing until the final round of matches.

The league said its total live-streaming audience had increased by 52% compared with the previous season, 2024-2025. Its overall following also reached 23 million, representing a 44% rise on the figure recorded in 2024-2025.

The Roshn Saudi League’s general assembly highlighted what it described as the competition’s growing domestic and international presence in a statement published on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

The league also reported total returns growth of 11.5% compared with 2024-2025. That followed a growth rate of 12.45 compared with the 2023-2024 season.

On the sporting side, the Saudi league remained top of the Asian rankings and continued to hold first place among competitions across the continent.

It was also the sixth-most represented league at the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Roshn Saudi League general assembly held a meeting with the clubs on Tuesday afternoon, ending an absence of more than two years. The gathering discussed potential amendments that could be introduced during the coming period.

The meeting took place as the league assessed its progress both on and off the pitch, following a season that delivered a new champion, record viewing figures and increased commercial value.

Al Nassr’s title ended a seven-year wait for the club and came after its battle with Al Hilal went to the final matchday. The campaign therefore combined a competitive finish with continued expansion in the league’s audience and international profile.

The latest figures underline the scale of the changes reported by the competition, from the 4.6bn-riyal market valuation to the rise in followers and live-streaming views. The league said these developments reflected its wider growth in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
