Manchester United appears to be regaining their form after a series of three unsuccessful matches in the Premier League. In their latest fixture against Crystal Palace on Saturday, the Red Devils secured a 2-0 victory. However, it was a challenging match, with the breakthrough coming in the 60th minute when Robin Van Persie successfully converted a penalty.
Wayne Rooney then added to United’s lead with a superb volley, assisted by Patrice Evra. This goal came as Rooney celebrated his new 5 and a half year contract with Manchester United, which is reported to earn him 19 million euros per year.
The win sets Manchester United up nicely for their upcoming Champions League clash against Olympiacos on Tuesday.
