Romanian side FC Arges linked with Adel Bettaieb in SuperLiga transfer rumour

Tunisian-French forward Adel Bettaieb, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Romanian SuperLiga side FC Arges.

The 29-year-old is a centre-forward and has been listed without a club since 17 August 2026. The reported interest from FC Arges comes shortly after that change in his club status, although there has been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached.

Bettaieb was born in Villiers-le-Bel, France, on 28 January 1997, and stands 1.84m tall. He is right-footed and has a current market value of €900,000.

The forward’s most significant club honour came during his time with F91 Dudelange, when he won the Luxembourgish championship in the 2021-22 season. That remains the only listed league title of his career.

A move to FC Arges would take Bettaieb into Romania’s top domestic division, with the club currently identified as the proposed destination. The available details do not establish whether negotiations have taken place, how long any potential contract might be, or whether a transfer fee would be involved.

Bettaieb’s immediate future therefore remains unresolved, with FC Arges the latest club linked with the unattached striker.
