Rollin Menayese: Wales defender joins Worksop on free transfer from Macclesfield

Wales and DR Congo centre-back Rollin Menayese has joined Worksop on a free transfer from National League North rivals Macclesfield.

The 28-year-old moves across the division after his spell with Macclesfield, where he had been part of the squad competing in the sixth tier of English football. His switch keeps him in the same league structure, but hands Worksop an experienced option at the heart of their defence.

Menayese, who is primarily a central defender, adds senior depth to a Worksop back line that will be tested over the course of a demanding National League North campaign. The free transfer means the club have been able to strengthen without paying a fee, an important factor at this level of the game.
