Roggerio Nyakossi linked with Monchengladbach move from OH Leuven

Roggerio Nyakossi, the 22-year-old Swiss-Togolese centre-back at OH Leuven, has been linked with a move to Monchengladbach.

Nyakossi currently plays in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League, while Monchengladbach compete in the Bundesliga. The reported move would therefore represent a switch between two of Europe’s top-flight leagues for the defender.

Nyakossi’s market value is listed at €5m, placing a potential deal in that range if OH Leuven were to consider an offer. The defender’s current contract runs until 30 June 2027, meaning he is not approaching the end of his agreement with the Belgian club.

The rumour was recorded on 16 August 2026, with no transfer fee, negotiations or probability attached to the reported interest. There has also been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or with the player.

Nyakossi, who holds Swiss and Togolese nationality, remains an OH Leuven player while the reported link with Monchengladbach develops. His contractual commitment to the Belgian club currently extends through the end of June 2027.
