Riyad Mahrez has fired up excitement among Al-Ahli Jeddah fans with a message of confidence as the Saudi Pro League giants gear up for the 2025–2026 season.
The Algerian winger, who joined Al-Ahli in 2023, linked up with the squad at their pre-season camp in Austria on Wednesday after completing his off-season break.
Now back on the training pitch, Mahrez expressed delight at rejoining the team and emphasized their goals for the upcoming campaign.
Mahrez told Al Ahli’s official account: “It’s always nice to come back and see these faces again. The vacation was great, but it’s over and it’s time for training.”
“We are here to regain our fitness and to be in the best possible condition. During the training camp, we will be together for a longer period, and this will bring us closer to each other.”
The former Manchester City star capped his comments with a promise: “Rest assured, we are working hard, and God willing, we will make you proud.”
