Rio Ave eye Stade Lavallois midfielder Malik Sellouki in Liga Portugal move

French-Moroccan attacking midfielder Malik Sellouki is the subject of interest from Rio Ave, with the Stade Lavallois player linked with a move to the Liga Portugal club.

Sellouki, 26, has started both of Stade Lavallois’ Ligue 2 matches this season, playing 156 minutes without scoring or assisting. He joined the French club from Dutch side ADO Den Haag on a free transfer in August 2024 and has established himself as an attacking midfield option.

The player’s current market value is listed at €900,000, while his contract with Stade Lavallois runs until 30 June 2027. There is no indication that a transfer fee or agreement has been reached between the clubs.

Sellouki began his senior career with Cannes before moving to OGC Nice’s reserve side. He later spent a season at NK Maribor, where he won the Slovenian championship in 2021-22, before joining ADO Den Haag.

Rio Ave are competing in Portugal’s top flight, while Stade Lavallois remain in Ligue 2. The reported interest comes after Sellouki’s full involvement in Laval’s opening league fixtures of the 2026-27 campaign.

For now, Sellouki remains a Stade Lavallois player under contract through the end of the 2026-27 season.
