Rilwanu Sarki: Nigeria winger joins Khor Fakkan on loan from Al-Ain

Nigeria winger Rilwanu Sarki has joined UAE Pro League side Khor Fakkan on loan from champions Al-Ain. The 22-year-old right-sided attacker moves on a temporary deal and is contracted to his new club until 30 June 2027.

Sarki switches to Khor Fakkan after playing his part in Al-Ain’s title-winning 2025-26 campaign, during which he also lifted the UAE President’s Cup. His market value is currently listed at €125,000, reflecting his emergence in Emirati football over the past two seasons.

Comfortable on the right wing and primarily right-footed, Sarki made his name with Al-Ain after arriving from Mahanaim FC in 2023. He featured across league and cup competitions last term, making 11 appearances in the UAE Pro League and adding further outings in the UAE League Cup and President’s Cup.

Though used sparingly in terms of minutes, Sarki managed a league goal in just over 200 minutes of top-flight action, underlining his impact in a title-winning squad. Standing at 1.68m, he offers a low-centre-of-gravity option in wide areas and another attacking dimension for Khor Fakkan.

The loan agreement runs through the 2026-27 season, with Sarki scheduled to return to Al-Ain when the deal ends on 30 June 2027.
