Richard Soumah has joined Belgian club Mons after leaving Brest. The Guinean international midfielder signed a one-year contract with three additional options with the Belgian D1 club. Soumah had previously undergone unsuccessful trials with Nîmes and Betar Jerusalem. Brest coach Alex Dupont had made it clear that Soumah was not part of his plans for the season, and the player, who was under contract until 2014, has now found a new destination in Belgium with Mons. During his two seasons with Brest, Soumah played 34 matches.
