Riccardo Ejesi: Nigeria-Italy forward joins Altavilla on free transfer from Calvi Noale

Nigeria-Italy centre-forward Riccardo Ejesi has joined Altavilla on a free transfer from Serie D rivals Calvi Noale. The 23-year-old has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 as he makes the switch within Italy’s fourth tier.

Ejesi, who was born in Padova and plays primarily through the middle, moves with a growing reputation in Serie D – C, where he has clocked up 82 appearances, scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists. He has also shown a knack for decisive contributions in high-stakes fixtures, with three goals in just two Serie D play-off matches and a further strike in the Coppa Serie D.

The left-footed forward joined Calvi Noale in August 2025, also on a free transfer, after spells with Adriese 1906 and Portogruaro. He first stepped into senior football with Virtus Francavilla following his time in the Padova youth ranks, gaining brief experience in Serie C in addition to his extensive minutes in Serie D.

Altavilla compete in the same Serie D – C group as his former club, and the move keeps Ejesi in a familiar competitive environment while offering a new platform after productive seasons across Italy’s lower leagues. His current market valuation stands at around €100,000.

Ejesi’s transfer from Calvi Noale to Altavilla is a permanent free move, with the forward now under contract at his new club until the end of June 2027.
