Riad Bennour reveals exciting details about the 2025 club world cup, including star consultants and unprecedented financial incentives
Riad Bennour, head of football operations at Espérance Tunis, has shared exciting new details about the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place in the United States.
Speaking on the “Forum Sport” show on December 5, 2024, Bennour revealed that the tournament will feature 12 renowned international consultants, some of whom are among the biggest global sports celebrities.
According to Bennour, the organizing committee has already announced three of these high-profile consultants, with the full list set to be unveiled in the near future.
While the final details remain under wraps, Bennour emphasized that the financial rewards for participating teams will be “very significant” and “unprecedented,” ensuring that the clubs involved will be fully on board with the competition.
“The amount will be very important, and everyone agrees that it will be approved by the clubs,” Bennour stated, hinting at the transformative financial backing the tournament will offer.
Additionally, Bennour confirmed that the 2025 Club World Cup will be freely accessible to football fans around the world.
The tournament’s matches will be broadcast for free in various countries, offering global viewers the chance to enjoy world-class football at no cost.
Espérance Tunis will also make its mark in the competition with a fresh new look. Bennour disclosed that the club will take to the field with a new logo and a redesigned kit.
“We will write ‘We are Esperance’ on our jerseys in Tunisia, and in America, we will say ‘We are Tunisia,'” he said, hinting at several surprises in store for fans.
For Bennour, the most important thing is that Tunisia is represented at the highest level, with the Tunisian flag proudly waving in the United States.
“Our duty is to represent Tunisia in the best possible way on every level,” he asserted.
“We must give a positive image and be an example for everyone.”
Football fans are eagerly anticipating the draw for the 2025 Club World Cup, which will take place on December 5, 2024, in Miami.
The tournament, set to run from June 15 to July 13, 2025, will showcase top clubs from around the world, with Espérance Tunis aiming to make a lasting impression on the global stage.
The draw will be broadcast live on FIFA’s official YouTube channel, as well as on beIN Sports, Abu Dhabi Sports, Saudi News, and On Time Sports.
