Jean II Makoun Dropped as Rennes Host Évian TG
Rennes will be without Jean II Makoun for Saturday’s home fixture against Évian Thonon Gaillard (8:00 p.m.). The Cameroonian midfielder was left out of the squad by coach Philippe Montanier following his underwhelming performance in the 0-2 loss to Lyon on Matchday 1.
New signing Benjamin André is also sidelined with a thigh injury. However, Rennes are boosted by the returns of Sanjin Prcic and Vincent Pajot, who were suspended during the opening match.
