Portugal international Renato Sanches, currently with Paris Saint-Germain U23, is being linked with a move to Bundesliga club Union Berlin.

The 29-year-old central midfielder joined PSG U23 on 1 July 2026, after returning to the French club at the end of a loan spell with Panathinaikos. He remains under contract until 30 June 2027.

Sanches spent the 2025-26 season with the Greek club, having previously been loaned to Benfica for the 2024-25 campaign and Roma in 2023-24. His current market value is listed at €2m.

The midfielder has played 90 Ligue 1 matches, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists. He has also made 35 Champions League appearances and 35 Bundesliga appearances during his career.

Sanches rose to prominence at Benfica before joining Bayern Munich in 2016. He won four German league titles with Bayern and was part of Portugal’s European Championship-winning squad in the same year. He has also won league titles in Portugal and France, as well as the 2019 Nations League with Portugal.

There is no indication that a transfer to Union Berlin has been completed, with Sanches currently registered as a Paris Saint-Germain U23 player and tied to the club for another season.
