Floyd Ayité has emerged as one of the standout performers in French Ligue 1 this season. The attacking midfielder for Reims has been thriving, earning recognition as the club’s best player in December.
Despite his impressive form, Ayité’s contract is set to expire in June, and he has not indicated a willingness to extend his stay despite interest from Reims. Saint-Etienne has expressed interest in the former Bordeaux player.
Additionally, several clubs abroad have shown interest in Ayité, who previously played for Angers and Nancy. However, Reims coach Hubert Fournier expressed uncertainty about Ayité’s future, stating, “He scores, he assists, he’s reached a certain level, but he’s at the end of his contract and hasn’t responded to our offers. I believe he’ll leave us at the end of the season.”
