Floyd Ayité’s Future at Stade de Reims Remains Uncertain Amid Contract Talks
After three seasons with Stade de Reims, Togolese international Floyd Ayité is yet to decide on his future as his contract nears its end. The club’s president revealed on the official website that Ayité’s departure is not yet confirmed and discussions are ongoing.
“His departure is not official,” the Reims president stated. “Football is full of twists and turns. Both his agent and Floyd himself have re-engaged with us. I’ve spoken to him on the phone. He’s closely watching the club’s progress, especially changes in the staff. He hasn’t clearly said he’s leaving; rather, he’s thinking it over. It’s been months, which seems a long time, but he’s still considering his options. Ultimately, he wouldn’t mind continuing here. He has some demands, but he’s found a family balance at Reims.”
With talks still open, Ayité’s next move remains uncertain as both player and club weigh their options ahead of the upcoming season.
