**Omenuku Mfulu Set to Feature on Right Wing Against Caen**
Midfielder Omenuku Mfulu will take on an unfamiliar role this weekend, lining up on the right wing for his club’s Ligue 1 clash against Caen. The change comes due to the suspension of Hamari Traoré and the injury of Antoine Conté.
Speaking on the club’s official website, Mfulu explained how he has adapted to the role: “It’s a position I’ve discovered since turning professional because I often play it in training. It has helped me improve tactically—closing down, covering, timing runs. The rest is football: passing, running… I know how to do it!”
The 23-year-old continued: “I also played this position during pre-season, including 45 minutes against Sevilla and came on against Guingamp. It went well, and I think I can do good things there. I also seek advice from the coach, the central defenders, and the full-backs—Francky, Hamari, or Antoine—who are best placed to guide me.”
Mfulu added that his primary role remains midfield, but he is willing to adapt for the team’s benefit: “If by changing positions I can help the team and the coach find solutions, I will do it without any problem. I have the ability to play in several positions and I always want to improve.”
