Redouane Bounoua: Algerian midfielder joins CR Temouchent on free transfer from ES Ben Aknoun
Algerian attacking midfielder Redouane Bounoua has joined CR Temouchent on a free transfer from Ligue 1 rivals ES Ben Aknoun.
The 27-year-old, who was born in Sidi Bel Abbes, makes the switch within the Algerian top flight after one season with Ben Aknoun, strengthening Temouchent’s creative options in the final third. The move has been completed as a free transfer, with Bounoua listed at a market value of around €50,000.
Bounoua arrives with extensive Ligue 1 experience, having made 105 appearances in the division and contributed eight goals and five assists. Across those games he has accumulated 5,673 minutes, underlining his status as a regular at this level rather than a fringe option.
Before his stint at ES Ben Aknoun, Bounoua spent three seasons at ASO Chlef after joining them from WA Tlemcen. His time at Chlef brought the biggest achievement of his career so far, as he helped the club win the Algerian Cup in the 2022-23 season.
The midfielder’s career has been built entirely inside Algerian football, with earlier spells at USM Bel Abbes and WA Tlemcen preceding his move to Chlef and then Ben Aknoun. His latest move keeps him in Ligue 1 while offering a fresh challenge at Temouchent.
Bounoua’s transfer to CR Temouchent has been finalised as a permanent free move ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
