Guelor Kanga, Cherif Ndiaye, and Osman Bukari propelled Red Star Belgrade to a resounding victory against Čukarički on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the Serbian SuperLiga. The trio of African players each contributed with a goal, showcasing their prowess on the field.

The spectacle began early in the match when Guelor Kanga, the Gabonese midfielder, confidently converted a penalty in the 9th minute, establishing Red Star Belgrade’s early lead at Stadion Rajko Mitic.

The home team continued to assert control over the game, and it was Cherif Ndiaye, the Senegalese talent, who extended the lead by scoring the second goal in the 37th minute, making it 2-0 before heading into halftime.

As the teams emerged for the second half, the anticipation heightened, and both sides displayed their determination to make an impact.

However, it was Red Star Belgrade that intensified the pressure on Čukarički, ultimately forcing the opposition to concede another penalty.

This time, the responsibility fell on the shoulders of the Ghanaian Osman Bukari, who clinically converted the penalty in the 75th minute, securing a commanding 3-0 lead for Red Star Belgrade.

Despite Čukarički’s tenacity, they were unable to overcome the formidable performance of Red Star Belgrade.

The final whistle marked a convincing victory for Guelor Kanga, Cherif Ndiaye, Osman Bukari, and their teammates.

Following the conclusion of the 22nd day in the Serbian SuperLiga, Red Star Belgrade, with the invaluable contributions of the African trio, holds a commendable second place in the league standings.
