Red Star Belgrade clinches Serbian SuperLiga title with goals from Olayinka and Ndiaye

Red Star Belgrade secured the Serbian SuperLiga title, thanks to crucial goals from Peter Olayinka and Cherif Ndiaye. Their strikes sealed a 2-1 victory over TSC, crowning Red Star Belgrade as champions of the Serbian SuperLiga for the season.

The decisive goals, scored by the Nigerian and Senegalese players, epitomized Red Star Belgrade’s resilience and determination throughout the campaign.

Despite facing a tough opponent, Red Star Belgrade persisted and ultimately found the breakthrough shortly after halftime.

It was Peter Olayinka who opened the scoring in the 55th minute, giving his team a vital lead of 1-0.

However, TSC quickly responded with an equalizer in the 60th minute, leveling the score at 1-1. Yet, Red Star Belgrade refused to be deterred, rallying behind their Senegalese talisman, Cherif Ndiaye.

In the 75th minute, Ndiaye orchestrated a brilliant move that culminated in a decisive goal, propelling his team back into the lead at 2-1.

With the scoreline unchanged until the final whistle, Red Star Belgrade emerged victorious, clinching the Serbian SuperLiga title in dramatic fashion.

The triumph of Red Star Belgrade is a testament to the collective efforts of its African contingent, who have played pivotal roles throughout the season.

Ghanaian Osman Bukari, Gabonese Guelor Kanga, Ivorian Jean-Philippe Krasso, Nigerian Peter Olayinka, Senegalese Cherif Ndiaye, and Burkinabé Djiga Nasser have been instrumental in the team’s success.

Notably, Olayinka, Ndiaye, and Kanga each contributed nine goals and assists, while Bukari and Krasso also made significant contributions with seven goals and assists apiece.

As Red Star Belgrade celebrates their triumph, the contributions of their African stars stand as a testament to their skill, dedication, and impact on the Serbian SuperLiga.
