Real Madrid transfer closes in as Yan Diomande misses Leipzig squad

Yan Diomande appears to be on the verge of completing a blockbuster move to Real Madrid after being omitted from RB Leipzig’s squad for their latest pre-season fixture, adding further weight to reports that the transfer is entering its final stages.

The 19-year-old winger was not included in the squad for Leipzig’s friendly against German third-tier side SC Verl, a significant development that has fuelled expectations of an imminent switch to the Santiago Bernabéu.
