Real Madrid shut door on Aurelien Tchouameni exit
Real Madrid have made it clear they have no intention of selling Aurelien Tchouameni this summer, despite growing interest from top European clubs.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United are among the sides keen on the French midfielder, but Madrid view him as a core piece of their long-term project.
Since arriving in 2022 as Casemiro’s successor, Tchouameni has established himself as a regular starter at the Bernabeu and is settled both on and off the pitch. He is happy in Madrid and is not pushing for a move, which further strengthens the club’s stance. With his current deal running until 2028, the hierarchy are even considering offering him a new contract to reflect his importance to the team.
On the pitch, Tchouameni has made 45 appearances this season, contributing two goals and two assists while anchoring the midfield with his defensive work and distribution. At the moment, he is sidelined by a hamstring injury and will miss the upcoming La Liga clash with Real Betis, but the club’s message is firm: their long-term midfield plan is built around him, and he is not for sale.
