Sami Khedira’s Exit from Real Madrid Nears as Club Sets Transfer Price
Sami Khedira is set to leave Real Madrid after falling out of favour with the club’s management, who reportedly disapproved of the way his agent handled his potential departure.
According to Spanish newspaper As, Real Madrid, eager to streamline their squad, have set a relatively modest asking price of €10 million for the 27-year-old German midfielder. Khedira, who played a key role in Germany’s World Cup triumph last July, remains under contract until 2015.
Several prominent clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Fiorentina, have expressed interest in signing the German-Tunisian international. With Real Madrid willing to negotiate, Khedira could soon be on the move as the club continues its summer overhaul.
