Though his playing time at Real Madrid has been inconsistent, especially with the regular absences of Sergio Ramos and Pepe, the club has made it clear that they have no intention of selling the French defender.
According to Marca, Real Madrid sees Varane as an essential part of their future, and he remains untransferable. Despite some doubts over his role in the team, the 22-year-old has a contract running until 2020, and it looks like he will be staying at Madrid for at least another season.
This strong stance from the club comes despite growing interest in his services from several big European clubs, but for now, it seems Varane will continue his journey at Real Madrid, where he has already spent four seasons.
