Real Madrid open to offers for Aurelien Tchouameni

Real Madrid are open to listening to offers for Aurelien Tchouameni this summer, with Manchester United among the clubs showing interest in the French midfielder.

Despite the noise around his future, the 25-year-old still wants to stay in Spain and fight for his place.

Tchouameni arrived at the Bernabeu from Monaco on 1 July 2022 in a major deal worth a base €80 million, with another €20 million available in add-ons. He signed a six-year contract and made his debut a little more than a month later, coming on in the UEFA Super Cup win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Since then, he has established himself as a player of real quality, but Madrid’s plans appear to be shifting as they prepare for a midfield refresh. Gianluigi Longari reported that the club no longer see him as untouchable and are ready to consider strong bids.

United have already opened preliminary talks with his representatives and are studying the conditions for a possible transfer. For now, the situation remains fluid, with Tchouameni’s preference and Madrid’s willingness both likely to shape what happens next.
