Spanish giants Real Madrid have no intention of signing English midfielder of Ghanaian descent Kobbie Mainoo in the summer transfer window.

However, the club will continue to keep tabs on the youngster whose future at Manchester United remain uncertain.

Reports had linked Madrid with a potential approach for Mainoo, who has struggled for consistent game time at Manchester United.

The club, however, values his immense potential and views him as a player who aligns perfectly with their long-term transfer philosophy, targeting the best young prospects in world football.

Despite that interest, Los Blancos are expected to rely on their current squad for the remainder of the season and will not make any major signings in January.

Meanwhile, Italian side Napoli are also said to be keeping a close eye on Mainoo’s situation, with a possible move under consideration in the next transfer window.

With multiple interests, Mainoo’s departure from Manchester United could happen sooner rather than later.

For now, he remains committed to Manchester United and hopes to get the opportunity to play regularly under manager Ruben Amorim.
