However, the club officials have now had a change of heart because of the recent impressive performances of Aurelien Tchouameni.
The midfielder especially in the Uefa Champions League tie against Manchester City was unplayable.
Particularly, in the second leg played at Bernebau on Wednesday, Aurelien Tchouameni put up an outstanding performance, helping Real Madrid to secure a 3-1 win.
The result helped the hosts to advance to the Round 16 stage of the Uefa Champions League.
