English-Nigerian winger Rio Ngumoha is being linked with a move from Liverpool to Real Madrid, with the 18-year-old emerging as a reported target for the La Liga club.
Ngumoha has featured regularly for Liverpool in the opening stages of the 2026-27 season. He has made five Premier League appearances and played in all three of the club’s Champions League matches, registering two assists in Europe.
The left winger’s current market value is listed at €50m, underlining the scale of any potential deal involving a player Liverpool signed into their academy setup from Chelsea in September 2024. He moved from Liverpool’s Under-18 side into the senior club structure in July 2025.
Ngumoha has predominantly been used from the left and is also eligible to represent Nigeria as well as England. He was not involved in England’s 2026 World Cup campaign, but his club appearances have increased his senior exposure at Liverpool.
The teenager remains tied to Liverpool on a contract running until 30 June 2028. Any move to Real Madrid would therefore require an agreement with the Premier League club, with no transfer fee or probability attached to the current rumour.
