Real Madrid declare Aurelien Tchouameni untouchable
Real Madrid have reportedly made it clear that Aurelien Tchouameni is off the market, despite growing interest from several major European clubs.
The Spanish giants are said to view the €75m-rated midfielder as “untouchable” and a crucial part of their long-term project.
After an initially mixed spell at the Santiago Bernabeu, where some performances drew criticism and frustration from fans, Tchouameni has developed into a consistent, trusted presence in Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield. His game has evolved from a primarily defensive role into that of a more complete midfielder, active in breaking up play and initiating attacks.
The numbers underline his importance. He has completed more passes than any of his teammates across La Liga and the Champions League this season, regularly posting accuracy figures above 90%. In the league alone, he has made 1,426 successful passes in 26 matches at a 91.41% success rate, while in the Champions League he has completed 600 passes at 92% accuracy.
With a contract that runs until 2028 and the possibility of an extension in the future, Madrid see the French international as a central pillar of their midfield for years to come, not as a player to cash in on.
