Real Madrid linked with Leipzig winger Yan Diomande
Ivory Coast international Yan Diomande is the subject of a reported move from Leipzig to Real Madrid, with the potential transfer from the Bundesliga to La Liga currently rated at 80%.
The 19-year-old right winger joined Leipzig from CD Leganes on 16 July 2025 in a €20m transfer and has a contract with the German club until 30 June 2030. His market value is listed at €90m, underlining the scale of any deal required to prise him away.
Diomande made 33 Bundesliga appearances for Leipzig, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists. He has also featured four times for Ivory Coast at the 2026 World Cup, starting each match and recording one assist.
The reported interest comes little more than a year after Diomande moved to Germany from Leganes, where he had arrived from DME Academy on a free transfer. His rapid rise has seen his listed value increase significantly since Leipzig paid €20m for his services.
There is no indication that a transfer to Real Madrid has been completed, and Diomande remains contracted to Leipzig for four more seasons. His current deal means the German club are under no immediate pressure to sell, while the reported €90m valuation provides an indication of the financial terms that could shape any negotiations.
