Real Madrid join chase for AIK winger Zadok Yohanna

Real Madrid have reportedly entered the race to sign AIK’s rising star Zadok Yohanna, adding even more weight to the growing interest around the Nigerian winger.

The 18-year-old only joined the Swedish club last summer but is already being tipped for a major move after a blistering start to the Allsvenskan season.

Yohanna has scored two goals and provided three assists in just seven league appearances, form that has lit up the Swedish top flight and turned him into one of the most talked‑about young talents in Europe.

Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Tottenham, Chelsea, Ajax and Club Brugge are all said to be monitoring him closely. Recent reports in Sweden suggested Leipzig were stepping up their pursuit ahead of the summer window, but now outlets in Nigeria claim Real Madrid have opened talks with AIK as part of a long-term recruitment plan.

Several clubs from the Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 have already contacted Yohanna’s agents, Roni Layous and Ayi Muhammed. AIK are understood to value their gem at around 30 million euros, roughly 327 million kronor, and he is under contract until 2029, putting the Swedish side in a strong position at the negotiating table.
