Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing England-born midfielder of Zambian descent, Jeremy Monga.
The 16-year-old Leicester City prodigy has made a remarkable breakthrough this season, already featuring four times in the Championship, scoring once and providing an assist.
In doing so, Monga shattered Jude Bellingham’s record as the youngest goalscorer in the competition, instantly marking himself out as one of English football’s brightest prospects.
According to reports, Real Madrid view Monga as a potential long-term successor to Vinicius Junior, while Barcelona are also said to be closely monitoring his progress.
Leicester City manager Marti Cifuentes, however, has urged patience, stressing the importance of gradual development for the youngster. The Foxes are determined to hold onto their prized asset and plan to offer him a professional contract when he turns 17 in July.
With Europe’s elite circling, Leicester face a major battle to keep hold of Monga, whose rapid rise has already captured the imagination of fans and scouts alike.
