Spanish giants Real Madrid are in talks to extend the contract of top defender Antonio Rudiger.
The German international of Sierra Leonean descent has established himself as an important player in the defense of Los Blancos in recent years.
In the ongoing 2024/25 football season, he has been a key man, scoring some important goals to keep the team in the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League as well.
To reward Antonio Rudiger, Real Madrid are reportedly engaged in contract renewal talks with the defender and his representatives.
Sources have revealed that in the new deal, Real Madrid are looking at increasing the wages of the centre-back.
In addition, there are talks to include a €100 million buyout clause in the new deal.
It is believed that the negotiations are progressing well and Rudiger’s contract could be extended before the season comes to an end.
