Real Madrid are reportedly planning to bring back Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi from Paris Saint-Germain during the upcoming summer transfer window, with the 25-year-old identified as a potential replacement for Dani Carvajal.

Hakimi is at the top of Real Madrid’s wishlist, despite the anticipated challenges of negotiating with PSG, who reportedly value the player at around €80 million and still have him under contract until 2029.

As per reports, the enterprising full-back is reportedly eager to return to the Santiago Bernabéu, the club where he rose through the youth ranks.

Hakimi is said to be willing to accept a pay cut to facilitate the move. His ambition to reclaim domestic and European glory with Real Madrid is seen as a key factor that could influence the deal.

Real Madrid, however, appear unwilling to meet PSG’s high valuation directly and are likely to wait for the right opportunity, potentially leveraging the player’s desire to return as part of the negotiation strategy.

Widely regarded as one of the world’s top full-backs, Hakimi’s experience across major European leagues—including stints at Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and PSG—makes him an ideal candidate to reinforce Real Madrid’s defense and inject pace, creativity, and attacking threat from the right flank.

With Carvajal entering the latter stages of his career, securing a player of Hakimi’s caliber could provide a long-term solution at right-back while adding another proven performer to the squad as Real Madrid prepares for both domestic and continental challenges next season.

If the deal goes through, Hakimi’s return would be a major statement by the club, combining nostalgia, tactical need, and world-class quality to strengthen a key position in the squad.
